Solar Panels for expedition use

Whether you're pogo-sticking across Mongolia, or merely doing an unsupported, solo crossing of Antarctica on foot, then modern, lightweight, amorphous, flexible solar panels are ideally suited for expedition use. When not in use, they can be rolled up and stuffed into a rucksack, canoe or sledge; when you need them to run an Iridium phone, charge your digital camera, fire up your laptop, or are desperate not to miss the Test Match Special on your short wave radio, you can unroll them and lash them to your tent, the deck of your kayak, or string them between the humps of your camel or in fact, anything else that comes to hand!
We particularly recommend the Unisolar / Spectraflex 32W panels, as they are so flexible they can be easily be rolled up and stored in a rucksack.
If you let us know what you want to power, we'll be happy to advise on a suitable panel for your use. Drop us a line and we'll do our best to help.
And PS: After your expedition, we'd love to hear how you got on!
