Low voltage fluorescent lights are great for the battery-powered electrical systems that are usually found on boats and caravans. Fluorescent lights are considerably more efficient than conventional filament lights, and as lighting is one of the biggest power draws on boats and caravans you can make your batteries last considerably longer by using fluorescent lights.
