Morningstar Tristar solar controller TS60

MorningStar's most advaced product, the Tristar is a three-function controller that provides reliable solar battery charging, load control or diversion regulation. Tristar is capable of handling solar arrays up to 4kW and enables operating at full ratings to 45°C.

It operates in one mode at a time, as either a solar battery charger, load controller or regulator. Two or more controllers may be used to provide multiple functions. For solar batteries it implements an efficient 4-stage charging process to increase battery capacity and life and can be used with large solar arrays up to 300A or more. As a load controller it can start large loads such as motors and pumps without damage to the system, allowing inrush current to 2--A and protect against short-circuiting and overloading with automatic reconnect. As a regulator it protects against battery overcharge, diverting excess energy to a secondary battery or alternate DC resistive load.

This model can be used with currents up to 60A! We also sell the 45A model if your power requirements aren't wuite that high.
