The carbon fibre in the plates of Elecsol batteries makes them stronger, lighter, and better able to stand deep discharge than conventional leisure batteries. Although slightly more expensive, they are well worth the extra cost as they will last typically three times as long!
Elecsol batteries can cope with high rates of discharge, so can be used as engine starting batteries - and are an ideal choice for use with inverters.
The 70Ah battery is the smallest in the elecsol range - a good choice for installations with one of our smaller solar panels of about 40 or 50 Watts.
Please note that the delivery time on batteries is approximately one week.
