It's worth using a good quality flex for any outdoor electrical cabling on your solar panel array. This cable from the Swiss manufacturer, Multi-Contact, is as good as it gets: It's 2.5 square mm, double insulated, with a highly abrasion-resistant (and UV resistant) outer sheath to provide maximum protection.
Ideal for use with solar panels up to 15A (approx 200W at 12V or 400W at 24V). For larger systems and for longer cable runs we recommend the 4sqmm version.
